Just when you are sitting, pondering in
your room with your favorite cup of coffee, thinking that yes life is finally
settled and there are no more crossroads left to decide upon, life smashes you
with another crossroad. It's something that you never knew even remotely had the
possibility of happening. That little iota that favors the situation becomes
Zeus and hits you like a thunderbolt. You then sit back and wonder, how did I
end up here? Which road to take? For past gives you lessons but not solutions.
All your wisdom ceases to exist. You’re trapped in your own realm. Which is the
correct way out? For every turn that life shows you is a never seen before
turn. The irony of this life is, it gives you blind turns, always! A turn you
make and you can never turn back. Sometimes I think, how easy it all would have
been had we had the option of reverse gear in life. The only thing you will end
up wasting is time. But at least you will have the option of making the right
turn. It’s like taking the road not travelled by and giving it a chance to
appeal to you but when it fails in that attempt, you can simply go back take
the road more travelled by. More
importantly, you wonder whats the destination of this lane? For we are all always
clueless on what we seek from life. You never know where you will end up, what
will you end up like and the biggest of all questions, will you make it worth
the while? Will you look back and smile? Will you do good? We will never know
you see, cause its all but a maze. A maze who’s map is hidden in time. Someone
who means the world to you today might be a complete stranger tomorrow and
someone who is a complete stranger today might define your world tomorrow. All
we tiny beings can do is wait. Wait for things to take their own turns. But
that’s again a gamble. For you definitely don't want to look back and think “
how I wish I had done something back then”. Its all but a crossroad wherein you
will take the turn that appeals the best. It will look rosy today and if you’re
lucky be rosy in the end as well. You never know you see. But one thing you’ll know for sure, it will
lead you someplace, a place where you’ve never been before and present you with
a crossroads you’ve never crossed before.
